The Permits Division administers the plan review process after the permit application is submitted and the fees are collected by the Permit Clerk. Refer to this link to access the Permit Application and Permit Fees page. Upon receiving an approved permit(s), two 24x36 hard copy plan sets are required for each submittal along with an electronic pdf copy. Below are the standards for plan reviews:
Utility Plan Review
If you are submitting a utility plan set, the engineered drawings will be submitted directly to Public Works. Utility Plan Sets require a Construction in Right of Way Application to be submitted following the City’s Utility Location Guidelines in 11x17 format and a Traffic Control Plan. An Application for Registration should be filled out each year. The person listed in the application is the contact person for questions associated with the submittal. Once the plans are approved call Public Works at 281-261-3922, 24-hours before work will begin.
