Recreation Department

The City's Recreation Department oversees the City pool and the Stafford Civic Center. In addition, the department regularly assists with events and operations at the Stafford Centre.

City Pool

The City’s pool and beach volleyball sand court are located behind the Civic Center. Swim programs for second and fourth grade students in the Stafford Municipal School District are held at the pool annually.

  • Stafford residents have access to the pool & open gym the entire swim season for $15.00 a person.
  • Family Pass for Stafford Residents of up to 4 family members is $15 total. Each additional family member will be at a fee of $10 each.
  • Daily passes for non-residents are: 5 years-adult, $5.00 2-4 years, $3.00 under 2 years, free.

Pool Schedule

  • May 27, 2017 through August 20, 2017
    • Tuesday - Friday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
    • Saturday: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Sunday: 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • August 21, 2017 through September 4, 2017
    • Saturday: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Sunday: 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Open Gym Schedule

You must have a pool pass with you to use the open gym. No exceptions.
  • Tuesday June 6, 2017 through Thursday July 20, 2017
    • 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
    • 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Gym tags must be purchased at the pool only during regular pool hours.

Swim Lessons

Morning and evening; ages 4 and up. Sign up begins May 27, 2017.

Pool Parties

A three-hour pool party costs $150 for Stafford residents and $250 for non-residents.
