Rental Property Registration

Owners or the owner's agent of rental properties (single-family rental homes), located in the City of Stafford, are required to register their properties annually by submitting a registration application with a non-refundable fee of $250. The program also requires a mandatory annual comprehensive inspection and a discretionary inspection for any critical or life safety violations under certain circumstances. (Ref: Chapter 14 of the Stafford City Code).

Right-of-Way Permit

The Public Works Department, Permits Division, and Fire Marshall review and approve plan sets in the City of Stafford. The Permits Division administers the plan review process after the permit application is submitted and the fees are collected by the Permit Tech.
