City of Stafford Newsletter June 2024|
My fellow Staffordians, I want to start by thanking those who participated in our recent election. Your votes are a testament to the strength of our democracy and your investment in the future of our City. I would also like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Councilmember Alice Chen and Councilmember Virginia Rosas as they begin their new terms on the Stafford City Council.
I'm excited to share some upcoming events the City is hosting. This Sunday, June 16th, the City of Stafford is hosting our Juneteenth Celebration from 2pm-8pm at the Stafford Centre. And on July 3rd & 4th we're hosting our annual Independence Day Celebration at the Stafford Centre. These events are not only a time for festivities but also a moment to reflect on the significance of freedom and community in our lives.
I encourage you all to stay engaged, support one another, and take pride in the wonderful City we all share. I am confident that by working together, we can overcome any obstacles and continue to build a brighter future for Stafford.
WE ARE STAFFORD STRONG
