WCA, the City of Stafford’s current Residential Solid Waste contractor, has the capability to pick up tree limbs twice a week with the pickup schedule established city-wide. The total volume of the tree limbs plus your garbage cannot exceed three (3) cubic yards and must be stacked at the curb prior to the day of the scheduled pickup and can be no heavier than one person can carry. For additional information on the Residential Solid Waste schedule or more information about tree limb pickup, contact WCA as listed on the Residential Solid Waste page.
In addition to WCA’s services, the City of Stafford picks up tree limbs four (4) times a year – on the week of the first Monday in January, April, July, and October. All limbs must be placed at the curb prior to the Monday when removal is scheduled. Limbs placed earlier than one week prior to the Monday when removal is scheduled and left for a lengthy period of time may constitute a violation of the City’s Code. Limbs must be cut 6 feet or less in length and must not weigh more than one person can carry and not be larger than twelve (12) inches in diameter. Limbs over twelve (12) inches in diameter must be disposed of in a different manner. For additional information concerning tree limb removal, call the Street Department at 281-208-6920. Tree limb pickup will commence on the first Monday of the following months:
